It seems the city council doesn't understand that their federal government has mandated that they give reasonable consideration to amateur radio operators when it comes to placing a tower and antenna on their own property. Well, the council has been known to 'thumb their noses' at the feds before. This needs to be challenged. What about the role the radio operators play in homeland security? Isn't that more important than a little aesthetics?
